Powerful yet balanced blackberry, cherry, spice and earth. This is serious Shiraz, with power and class.
 
Syrahmi is a producer that specialises in, unsurprisingly Syrah (Shiraz). This is his most entry level wine, but it's still the product of legitimately brilliant viticulture and winemaking - it's just really good value.
 
You'll love this if: You're looking for Shiraz with some power. Or you're looking for Shiraz with finesse. Drink this wine.

Maybe skip this if: Don't skip it, unless you hate all styles of Syrah. If you're comfortable with any style, this is going to be fine. That sounds like an exaggeration, but it just sits on a really useful boundary between styles without being confronting.
 
When to open it: Drink now. Will age happily up until around 2030, but is drinking really well right now.
